Bienvenue au Domaine de la Soucherie Our Story

OUR HISTORY

Originally, Château Soucherie was a Dukes of Brissac’s farmhouse. It was designed at the end of the 19th century by a sister of the Duke, the Princess of Arenberg. She used it as a country residence, enjoying its wines and entertaining her many friends including the famous journalist and adventurer, Joseph Kessel.

The estate was sold to a winemaker’s family in 1952. They have made Chateau Soucherie wines famous throughout the region.

Since 2007, the Béguinot family owns Château Soucherie, with a constant focus on improving quality.
